Resolved: Why is Miracle Ear not returning our personal payment now that the Disability claim has been filed and approved?

Workman's Comp finally was able to get Miracle Ear to generate a bill so they could pay them. It took a year but we received a check from Miracle Ear for MOST of our payment. We will never use a Miracle Ear franchise again however.

To avoid the high interest charged by the loan company used by Miracle Ear we paid approx. $7,000 from our personal savings while waiting for Miracle Ear to submit our claim to the Company in California which handles disability claims.
The person who submitted the claim initially submitted it to the wrong Company and waited months before she correctly resubmitted it. It was finally authorized for payment Nov. of 2017 and she waited to submit the bill until Dec. 27 of 2017.
When I spoke to her on the phone she had numerous excuses but no real reasons for her lack of effort with our account.
We have waited since June of 2017 for our money back and still have not received any money, notice or info.
My husband has been receiving new hearing aids every four years for over 20 years and we have never had to pay upfront or wait for a claim to be paid immediately.
We need to know what has happened to the disability payment and our original payment.
As you can imagine anyone who asks us about Miracle Ear is not impressed by our experience.
