Hearing Aids are RUBBISH 7000 dollars down the drain
Started wearing my old one again
The MiracleEar aids, not as promised.
Checked out a few other places first. But too high priced.
Went to Miracle Ear in UC,Tx to try theirs out. Was ok, but had a lot of trouble hearing my cellphone, kept cutting out on me, it was so irritating. I had 30 days to decide, and was convinced this was the way to go....mistake! Was told my HMO was all mailorder, and would not compare....mistake!
My insurance has a office here and did all adjustments on site. Word to the wise, don't believe what any salesman tells you, they are "in sales", check your ins. for assistance. Instead of $5,700 for Miracle Ear,I paid $660 for HealthInnovations aids, through my insurance for a equal product.
I even had 70 days to try out the aides. I had even more time to compare the two, and ....chose the latter.
A better choice. KO

No customer service , software issues, over 2 months to get refund $6,000
I have used the Lansing , Michigan ,store with Owner Jim V. I have tried 3 different types of Miracle Ear hearing aids and all of them had software issues as being compatible with I-phones.
The features do not work or only work some of the time. The owner is only available 2 times a week for service visits, although has another employee working M, W, F, . No appts. after 5 pm (with owner) so I can never get an appt.
after work and have to take time off during the day for a visit. It is now going on TWO MONTHS to get my $5,950.00 back from Miracle Ear !! I bought the top of the line Miracle Ear sells. The brochure says refund issued withing 30 days.
I see there are about 160 complaints on Miracle Ear refunds not being issued.
My next step is the Michigan Attorney Generals Office. I would NOT recommend any of the Miracle Ear hearing aids due to the features they claim, but do not work properly and also a huge pain in attempting to get a refund back from the company..
- Software issues to work properly and refund of money
Preferred solution: Full refund
Pressured into buying unneeded hearing aids
We moved to Roseburg, Oregon eight months ago. The first thing we wanted to do is to get set up with Miracle Ear to keep our hearing aids in good condition.
On our very first visit, the audiologist wanted to give us a hearing test and sell us new upgraded hearing aids. Even though my latest pair were not even a year old. My husband and I are old and living on a fixed income; we do not need new hearing aids, nor can we afford something we dont need. When it comes to costs, he keeps saying Dont worry about it.
He got us to try these upgraded pair for one month, and took our existing pairs away. We tried them for two weeks and found little difference. When we returned them and asked for our old one back, he wouldnt give them to us until I had to scream at the top of my lungs that we wanted them back. He then left the room and went to the telephone to call our daughter to try and convince us how much we needed those new up- graded hearing aids.
When he finally gave us back our hold ones, he threatened us with Youll be sorry. It appears that this audiologist is not interested in taking care of hearing aids that you didnt buy from him. He only wants to sell you more. It was six months before we went back, and he is still at it.
Even though our hearing aids are fine, he says that we are missing half the words, etc. If it werent for the fact that my husbands aids get moisture in the tubes and have to be cleaned out now and then, we would never go back.
I think that this audiologist just tries to take advantage of the elderly. When we feel that we need new hearing aids, were going to go to Costco.
Costly ear plugs
Returning product
I purchased miracle ear device on March 14th,,, it did not work. I attempted to return the device on March 20th.
The so called sales man Justn something told me he could not accept it and would cost me $400 something dollars to do so, this device has never worked as advertised, the salesman never explained the proper way to use it,,,not even how to turn on and off,, how to clean excess ear wax off it,,it has never worked outside his office,,it would never even sqeel when your hand is near it as every one I had ever seen, So I took it back home after about 3 weeks or so I saw that there was a 30 day return policy. I could not afford gas to return it until after the 3rd of May, being more that 30 days by then he still would not accept or even write a notice saying I was returning it. After leaving it at the office I today receive it back in the mail. I am going to return it again and weather or not he wants it....I don't care what your policy is,,,,I will NEVER PAY A SINGLE PENNY towards this device.
So you can do whatever you want. My name Is Terry Mangham,,,phone 318461****
- Lack of standing behind their product
- People lying to me
- Salesperson did explain product well

Want to return moms Miracle Ears and was told no
My mom purchased her two Miracle Ears on 9/23/16. She had pretty good luck, but the charge would not keep for longer than eight hours and as time went on even shorter time.
Talked to her in March 2017 and she told me that the charge was finally lasting longer. On April 4th mom was airlifted to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'alene, Idaho. She never used her Miracle Ears again. She passed away on April 18, 2017.
She paid $6,200. She had paid the balance down to $4700 on the Healthiplan credit. I called Miracle Ear in Coeur d'alene and asked them how I go about returning the ears and was told that they do not take returns. I told them that I have her Purchase Agreement and it stated on the agreement it says: The Hearing Instrument(s) is (check one) New, Used or Reconditioned.
Hers was New of course. If this is on your agreement why would you not take a return? She said she didn't know why they have that on the agreement. Maybe someone else in the family could use them?
I understand that I probably would not get a full credit, but I do not understand why I cannot return the product. My mom has died, she was not buried with them. I have them and want to return them.
I do not feel I owe for the $4700. Anyone have any idea's for me?
Preferred solution: Price reduction
Said their aids will make one less prone to Alzheimers????
Was told my 79 year old dad really needs hearing aids because not taking care of the problem will make him MORE prone to getting Alzheimer's or Dementia. The sales person stated as time goes by with elderly people with hearing issues who do not get fitted with a hearing aids, it makes them more prone than usual for them to develop Alzheimer's.
He went on to say how the brain will eventually stop transmitting hearing to their brain and this makes them more likely to get Alzheimer's. Asked two doctors about this and they never heard of this, and stated how if it was true, then all deaf people should have Alzheimer's. They also started with an insane price of $9,500. After learning his insurance would not cover any of it, he said he could *** $2,000, and he could finance the rest.
Makes one wonder about the RIDICULOUS mark up they have on their products. We will look elsewhere, but their insane prices, and blatant lies should make others stay away.

I have a pair of free "Listening Ears". They're called "Hands".
Now, I have been turned over to Qualia Collection Service, so Allegro Credit can recover the payment that they made to Miracle Ear, for their...not as promised...product. This has been a very troubling experience.
I hold Miracle Ear responsible, their "salesman" Josh, in this case, works on commission, so he got his, and Miracle Ear, got their overpriced product dollars....so they can't..won't take the unsatisfactory product back. Bad Miracle Ear, this will be "bad" for business.
Miracle Ear Company is such a big concern, they process quickly, before the consumer can think this major purchase through. I recognized my mistake, after I was assured these aides would work with my phone....never happened.
The salesman in Universal City, Tx, could not satisfy my need, so now, everyday Qualia, the Miracle Ear collection company calls trying to settle that deal. I am happy with my Health Innovations still, and they work with my same phone, and at 1/10 the cost.
I cannot say this enough....don't believe all these salesmen tell you, check all offerings before any final decision. There is a lot of $$$$ involved with Miracle Ear, and there are more reasonable choices.
