Miracle Ear is a scam, a bait and switch.
Miracle Ear has you by the b--l's when you walk in the door. They take advantage of older people with hearing loss.
They have no consideration as to whether you can afford them or not. The bottom line is make the sale. I made the big mistake of not looking for aids provided by other companies because I had heard so much good about Miracle Ear.
Well there was no miracle and the aids cost more than $6000.00. I could have done better and I blame myself for being taken in.
A few years ago I went to Miracle Ear for hearing aids. I thought at that time they were still connected with Sears.
My plan was to use my Sears credit card to pay for the aids. As it turned out Miracle Ear was no longer affiliated with sears. I was told by a women that she could give me a "really good deal". When I got in there they were like used car salesmen.
I admit it was my fault for not backing out when I had that gut feeling of being taken.
As a result I ended up going in debt for $6000.00 plus interest. I am still paying off hearing aids that should have been top of the line.
Instead I was given a low end aid. These people are nothing but scam artists posing as professionals.

I DID NOT GET HARDLY ANY IMPROVEMENT SO I DON'T SAY EACH DAY: " LET'S PUT ON MY MIRACLE EAR HEARING AIDES!"! I HAVE FOLLOWED THE PROCEEDURE TO RECEIVE A REFUND, BUT I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT WASHINGTON HAS A LAW THAT HEARING AIDES CAN'T BE RETURNED!!
I had missed several appointments due to the fact I am a disabled senior and was dependent on a local driving contractor to get me there. I also have several physical problems.
I understand the manager had to address the issue when I had to cancel again, but he was rude and arrogant and overbearing about it. He never even gave me a warning, like, "well, I'll give you one more chance." He just treated me like I was an absolute piece of crap, and was not in the least interested in my health issues or giving me one last chance. This miracle ear was in Reno NV on S. Virginia Street.
From the gate, he raised his voice telling me they were in business to make money and didn't have time for people not showing up for their appointments. It was irrelevant I was not responsible for it. Where do they hire these people? I keep hearing how "polite" and kind the Miracle-Ear customer service people are, and I have NEVER been treated like such a piece of meat whose only value was how much money they could get out of me.
I found a very good local company called Reno Hearing Center who was very polite. If I am going to spend $5000 for a hearing aid I'd sure rather go where people don't treat me like dirt.
buyers remorse is no reason to complain on a company.
You are either affiliated with Miracle Ear or have not been scammed by the these
I agree. Their so called accociates and franchise management have no real accreditation.
Front desk positions requiring at least a high school diploma. Where i live, a lunatic runs the desk.
Also, the company that really owns this front has been indicted for billions. So, from my perspective, Miracle Ear is a total, greed-driven rip-off.
